Objectives: Students will be able to:

·      Identify the distinction between summarizing sources and synthesizing sources

·      Learn more synthesis language and practice their use

·      Learn synthesis paragraph structure and writing

Please click here and work with a partner to come up with synthesis/comparative language structures and vocabulary. Don't cheat and look ahead just yet.

Review REPORTING VERBS handout. You will need to correctly use both Comparative Language and Reporting verbs in order to create effective synthesis Paragraphs
